Resource is proud to give long overdue recognition to our service region's educational support staff - paraprofessionals, clerical personnel, school bus drivers, custodians, food service personnel, buildings and grounds personnel, health and safety staff, technicians, custodians, school nurses and all other support staff.
They are an integral part of our school districts. They promote student achievement, ensure student safety and contribute to the establishment and promotion of a positive instructional environment.
As requested by so many at the Educational Support Staff Banquet, following is the cookie recipe that Mary Dank’s favorite custodian use to bring for her when she worked at the “school in the sky.”
Norm's and Jackie’s Golden Sugar Cookies
Preheat oven to 350
Blend together:
Then add:
Roll into balls and place on a cookie sheet sprayed with PAM. Press down with a glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 3500... for 9– 12 minutes. Watch closely and remove from the oven when the edges are just a tiny bit golden. YOU MIGHT WANT TO DOUBLE THE RECIPE...THEY DISAPPEAR QUICKLY!!
