VEBA is a tax-free personal health account designed to work with a high-deductible health plan that saves the employee out of pocket expenses by having lower health plan premiums.

VEBA Plan Paying Your Medial Claims

The advantages are clear
Through the VEBA personal health account, employers contribute tax-free dollars to a fund. This fund is for employees and retirees to use for current and future medical expenses. This is an excellent way to save because 60-70% of people spend less than $300.00 year.

Employees and family members benefit from no minimum reimbursement amount, can use the funds as needed, and can choose daily investment options.

Plans for Active Employees
Resource negotiates a health plan with many deductible and coinsurance options:

VEBA 100, 80, 70 includes a Minnesota Provider Network that includes nearly every health care provider in the state' no referrals needed. Be a BlueCard carrier and you have access to any provider that has a contract with BlueCross BlueSheild, no matter you live or travel.

Wellness is encouraged with a $250 preventive care benefit. In addition well child services, prenatal care, cancer screenings, routine physicals and eye exams are covered at 100%.

Retiree Plan
VEBA allows the transfer of 100% of severance, vacation, and/or sick leave into a Retiree Medical Savings Account.
