Join the Instructional Coaching (IC) Academy of Pacesetting Schools.
(Round 2 starting in January)
The IC Academy is an initiative sponsored by Resource Training & Solutions that is designed to help schools ramp up their systems of support by developing skilled instructional coaches in four areas: partnership, leadership, change, and instruction.
The IC Academy will jump start your team with job-embedded professional development customized for your school/district. It provides the organizational structure and communication channel to share the work of other pacesetting schools to promote widespread and dramatic impact.
By choosing to participate in the Academy, the school leaders express a desire to strive for excellence, and devote sufficient resources and attention to make a high-quality regional system of support a reality.
The focus of the Instructional Coaching Academy will make instruction the number one priority and create effective teachers and principals to support your existing initiatives.
We will do this by leveraging existing resources, both personnel and funding; of the district systems so that they can more effectively support improvement efforts.
The Math Science Teacher Academy focuses on Resource's collaboration with higher education and regional districts that use lesson study teams to plan lessons, deliver instruction, and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching strategies in relation to student thinking/reasoning. Full teams of teachers meet regularly to promote higher order thinking skills in math/science classrooms. Online support is available for all districts who desire to support their teachers/administrators with strategies to improve schools and the staff who serve their students.
