Educational Support Staff (ESS) 

The Educational Support Staff Recognition Event is an opportunity to recognize and honor School Support personnel who go above and beyond their required duties.  Each participating member school district can determine their selection committee and is responsible for establishing its own selection procedures.  Support Staff could include bus drivers, custodians, office support, paraprofessionals, food service, non-teaching coaches, special education paraprofessionals, etc.

Leaders in Educational Excellence (LEEA)

Resource Training & Solutions hosts an annual Leadership in Educational Excellence Banquet and Award Ceremony (LEEA). This ceremony recognizes outstanding educational leaders from our member school districts. Over 150 educators and administrators are honored each year. Each district is responsible for establishing its own selection procedures.

The next LEEA event will be held October 24, 2012.

Students of Excellence

Resource Training & Solutions hosts an annual Students of Excellence Banquet and Award Ceremony. This ceremony recognizes outstanding high school seniors from our member school districts. Over 160 students are honored each year.


WEM Regional Awards

Recognizing Outstanding Teachers

Outstanding teachers are recognized for academic excellence. Support teachers (licensed and non-licensed) and their important role in helping all students achieve academically, and bring recognition to the often "unsung heroes" who meet the challenges of teaching. Educators and administrators from Minnesota public or non-public schools, or educational institutions are eligible.

Honorees are selected in each category and each receives an unrestricted $10,000 gift and crystal apple award. In addition, regional honorees are named who receive an unrestricted $1,000 gift, trophy and the opportunity to compete in the state competition the following year
