Steam and Hot Water Boiler Trainings
Thank you to those who completed the Boiler Training Survey recently. Based on your feedback, we will be offering the following trainings:
Boiler Operations 6-Hour Continuing Education Course (8773)
December 27, 2011
8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
$50 members, $75 non-members
326B.974 School Engineer Subdivision 1. License required. Any custodial engineer employed by a school whose duties include the operation of a boiler shall be licensed pursuant to section 326B.978, to operate the particular class of boiler used in the school.
Subd. 2. School district training. A school district shall allow to occur annually at least 8 hours of training related to boiler operation to a licensee described in subdivision 1.

Preparation for the Special License (8777)
December 28, 2011
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
$125 members - $150 non-members
This course covers low pressure boilers used in steam and hot water heating applications. This course is designed for those who want to acquire a Special License.
Boiler Licensing Application, Exam Fee & Exam Dates will be discussed during the class.
Materials & Lunch will be provided.

2nd, 1st, & Chief License Preparation (8778)
2-Day Training
December 29 & December 30, 2011
7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., both days
$190 members, $210 non-members
This course covers low pressure boilers used in steam and hot water heating applications. This course is designed for those who want to acquire a 2nd, 1st or Chief's License.
Boiler Licensing Application/Exam Fee and Exam Dates will be discussed during the course.
Materials & Lunch will be Provided on Both Class Days |
