The use of iPods and iPads have revolutionized the way that many teachers and students approach learning today. With access to information literally at your fingertips, learning can now take place anywhere and in a way that allows each learner an individual experience. This session will look at ways teachers and administrators can use their own devices for instruction and professional development as well as how students can consume and create content for learning. Participants will leave with a list of free apps that can be used the very next day.

Google has begun to emerge in countless schools as a means for educators and students to not only have access to their materials anytime, but also collaborate with others. As a free tool for education, it allows users to access their resources anytime and anywhere there is internet. During this day we will look at a variety of to the tools
offered by Google, whether your school is exploring Google Apps for Education or if you are using Google tools on your own. We will be looking at ways to collaborate on documents, create self-grading assessments, create interactive websites, and organize yourself and your classes with calendars. When participants leave they will have a
functional website that intuitively incorporates a variety of Google tools for learning and teaching.

Today's learners have grown very accustomed to exploring and having access to a variety of technology tools in their personal lives. In this session, we'll look at a variety of FREE emerging applications that teachers can use for their own professional activities as well as ways to embed such tools into the classroom. We will look at ways to create stunning presentations that move beyond the slide-by-slide model, ways to create websites that allow for students projects as well, and tools to help you better access your information anytime and anywhere. When participants leave they will have a list of web tools they can use the next day for themselves and/or their students.
