Description
Resource Training & Solutions has partnered with Paul Gorski, founder of the Equity Literacy Institute and EDChange, to bring equity-centered conversations to central Minnesota.

Reaching and Teaching Students in Poverty: Strategies for Erasing the Opportunity Gap
How would our equity efforts for students experiencing poverty change if we based them on deeper understandings of the barriers and inequities with which families experiencing poverty contend? In this workshop, we will examine these barriers and inequities, how they operate in and out of schools, and how we might perpetuate them unintentionally in our spheres of influence. We then will be prepared to discuss strategies for rooting class bias and inequity out school policy and practice.
