All teachers are responsible for implementing the 2010 MN ELA Standards during the 2012-2013 school year. We will use Ainsworth’s carefully sequenced, hands-on model of rigorous curriculum design to intentionally connect standards, instruction and assessment.

In this two-day learning session, participants will:

Day 1:
  • Plan engaging learning experiences through effective instruction

Day 2:
  • Create standards-based formative and summative assessments
The 2010 MN ELA Standards Professional Development Learning Series will be offered over the next two years. This learning is Phase II of that four-phase learning series. Each phase will be offered for two (2) graduate credits through The College of Saint Scholastica (for a total of up to 8 credits over two years). More information will be shared during our first session.

Bring your school/classroom writing rubric to share.
