| Description |
This is a system of 46 hand cues that look and feel like the sounds they represent. The symbols for the sounds look like the hand cue. This is a technique that helps students break the code of reading, writing, and spelling. This is not a separate curriculum. This is a strategy that is incorporated within what you already teach.
If you work with students that are ELL, Deaf or Hard of Hearing, gifted, "average," at risk, "bubble kids," students in Special Education, autistic, students with language processing difficulties, and/or if you coach students in a sport where relaying on games plays is needed, then this class would be beneficial to you.
