Breaking the cycle of violence involves more than identifying and stopping the bully. Come to this evening event to learn how to:
Examine why and how a child becomes a bully and/or the target
Discover the role the bystanders play
Realize the deadly combination of a bully, a bullied child, and the bystanders and adults who see bullying as teasing, not tormenting
Use the tools needed to handle conflicts without violence
The cost for this event is:
$5 online with a credit card or purchase order by September 25 OR
$10 cash or check at the door on September 26
About the Presenter
Barbara Coloroso is an internationally recognized speaker and author in the areas of parenting, teaching, school discipline, non-violent conflict resolution and reconciliatory justice. She is an educational consultant for school districts, the medical and business community, the criminal justice system and other educational associations around the world.
Barbara has served as a classroom teacher, a laboratory school instructor, and a university instructor. She is author of five international bestsellers: "Kids are Worth It!", "Parenting Through a Crisis", "The Bully, the Bullied and the Bystander", "How Parents and Teachers Can Help Break the Cycle of Violence", and "Just Because It Isn't Wrong Doesn't Make it Right."

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first day of class shall forfeit 50% of the course registration fee. No refunds shall be issued within 48 hours before the start of the class.
