Join us for a professional development opportunity presented by:

Resource Training & Solutions
 
Tuesday, October 6th from 9:00am – 3:00pm, Registration begins at 8:30am

 
Bring a small group from your AYP Leadership Team who will focus on learning how to build a strong plan for Parent-Community Involvement (3-4 people, including parents from your identified student groups in need of improvement).  
 
Your team will explore the following: 
  • How to bring families and community members together in understanding the necessity for school improvement based on what is happening in education from a global perspective and how that impacts every nuance of our lives
  • How families can help students learn
  • What is necessary for planning and implementing effective strategies to support students
  • Six paths to effective parent involvement
  • Partnership strategies to include in your action steps within your School and District Improvement Plans 
 
You will leave energized with a draft of your Parent/Community Involvement Action Plan to share with your full AYP Leadership Team.
