| Description |
In an effort to expand on the ongoing AYP support for schools and districts that are writing AYP improvement plans, the School Improvement Division of MDE will be presenting the webinar, “ Improvement Plan Elements for In Need of Improvement Schools and Districts”. This webinar focuses on the regional Statewide System of Support model for AYP schools and districts, a review of federal improvement elements of the plans, and common practices of MN schools that have made AYP and are no longer in an AYP status. This webinar is intended to be a “check point” for those that are in the plan development process after attending the August 13 AYP meeting in St. Cloud. Hopefully, it will provide additional information and direction that will assist teams in completing their respective improvement plans.
The presentation will be Monday, September 20, from 3:30 – 4:30 PM. This time of day will hopefully allow school and/or district leadership teams to meet together to participate in the presentation. It is suggested that anyone involved in your School or District Improvement Plan process would benefit from participating in the webinar.
Intended Audience: School and District improvement team leaders, district and school administrators, assessment coordinators, and other who play a vital role in the school improvement leadership process.
