| Description |
-All students grades K-6 are invited to attend this exciting event. -All players are guaranteed to play at least four games of chess. -Awards will be given for 1st through 8th place in each division. -Please bring your own chessboard and standard pieces marked with your name (one board per child). -Parents are welcome to stay throughout the day and are encouraged to volunteer. -Parents that do not stay for the tournament must be back by 2:00p.m. -Discovery PTA will have coffee, juice and rolls available for purchase in the morning and pizza and pop available for lunch, or if you prefer, bring your own lunch and beverage. -Due to the computer-generated tournament rounds, all registrants need to be on time, once the 1st round has started, no late comers will be admitted. All levels of experience are welcome, you just need to know how to play!

| Cancellation Policy | Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations shall be accepted for a full refund up to 5 business days before the first day of the class. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first day of class shall forfeit 50% of the course registration fee. No refunds shall be issued within 48 hours before the start of the class.
